In 2012-13, at the invitation of Suzanne Stein, we guest edited a series of posts for SFMOMA’s blog Open Space. The entire series, “Proposal for a Museum,” can be accessed at http://blog.sfmoma.org/tag/proposal-for-a-museum.
In 2012 we curated (along with Ionit Behar) a solo presentation of work by Ramon Miranda Beltran entitled Chicago is My Kind of Town for the artist-run gallery Julius Caesar in Chicago.
At the invitation of Mary Jane Jacob, we served as co-curators (along with Pablo Helguera, Tumelo Mosaka, and Steven Bridges) of the 2012 graduate thesis exhibition at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. MFA 2012 was on view at the Sullivan Galleries in April and May 2012.
Our ongoing research project focuses on collectivist artistic activities in Poland after the fall of Communism.
